Ure Dales — Your Say

Your Say

This is where landowners record their preferences and register consent. The decisions you express here will shape the scheme agreement — the legal document each member will be asked to sign.

Three ways to vote — all equal

You can record your preferences online, by post, or by phone. There is no difference in the weight your response carries.

Online:

use the links on this page. You will need your personal email link.

By post:

a paper ballot is in your pre-workshop pack. Return it in the FREEPOST envelope or bring it to the workshop.

By phone:

Call the scheme team if you would prefer to record your vote by phone.

Voting is currently live for the open questions listed on this site.

The questions

What this page is for

Each landowner in the Ure Dales Consortium is asked to record their preferences on a small number of scheme questions. Your responses inform the scheme agreement — the legally binding document that will ratify whatever the Consortium decides.

Recording a preference here is not, in itself, a legal act. The legally binding step is signing the scheme agreement. This page is where you shape what goes into it.

How to take part

There are three ways to record your preferences. All three carry equal weight.

  • Online:use the voting links on this page. You will need the personal link sent to your email address.
  • By post:a paper ballot is included in your pre-workshop pack. Return it using the FREEPOST envelope provided, or hand it in at the workshop.
  • By phone:Call the scheme team if you would prefer to record your vote by phone.

If you have not received your email link or paper ballot, please use the contact page on the main Ure Dales site. Contact the scheme team.

What happens after the vote window closes

Responses are collated and presented to the Consortium. The results — not individual votes — are used to draft the scheme agreement.

A summary of results will be published here after the voting window closes.
